At work we use Quickmail. It's OK, but I like my yahoo mail better. I don't have my own Internet connection so I'm stuck with web based e-mail.

Mutt. I used Berkeley Mail for the longest time until the proliferation of MIME forced me to find a mail reader that would handle it.

A couple of jobs ago when IloveYOU first hit the scene, I was happily reading its source code (which someone had "kindly" deposited in my inbox) when the CEO started running around frantically telling everyone to stop reading their mail. I ignored him. He's a Windows user, after all.

Generally mail.app or .mac webmail, but when in doubt I reach for pine.

I use web based mail for personal mail, and Pegasus Mail for work.

I used to use Mutt. Now I use Evolution. Both work on most UNIX systems, although Evolution admittedly has a lot of lib.so dependencies.

I was using PowerMail for a while and loved it, but then they wanted me to cough up $40 to keep going. Ulgh. I didn't have that kind of money. I even tried hacking it, but I really didn't care enough to put that much effort into it at the time, so I just went back to Outlook. Currently, I'm using a combination of Netscape Messenger for my one address, and Outlook for the other.

On a related note, I have to give a plug for SpamAssassin. I just installed it on my inbound mail server and it is fantastic. I had to play with the weightings a little, but it has captured nearly every one of the 150 pieces of spam I've gotten in the last 2 days. So far I have had no false positives.

99% of the time I use YAM on my Amiga, Amithlon, or UAE. Otherwise I use a browser, Eudora (Windows), or KMail (Linux).
