skye - do you think they have slightly misinterpreted the term "Northern"...? ;) Our poor, lost souls, who left our beloved nation to go to some strange lands on a continent where everyone drinks coffee and drives on the wrong side of the road...- uilleann

The net has now become a domain of the Alaskans. Watch out or we'll send our cow-sized mosquitoes after you.

Wow, now that sounds like some excellent target practice =) Somehow, though, I feel that a neither a BB gun or pinged elastic bands are going to be of any use in this case - might have to get out the heavy artillery at last ;)- uilleann Geek Culture Code ^yeah, been forgetting to add that

The mosquitoes in Alaska are unlike any others. The tiny ones fly right through the screen in the door. And the big ones just open the front door. -Organa

What being Northern means to me: dirt. big black clouds. sheep. people who spend too much time with sheep. bitterness. farmers who avoid dentists. emmerdale farm. shepherds bloody damn pie. jokes about Lancashire. shooting stuff. As you can see, I love living in the North sky (without an e on the end ) p.s. nobody from Alaska should get offended... this is singularly Yorkshire humour. (am I being funny... I'm not quite sure)

skylar - you missed off ducking from bazooka shells from worms who missed... ; ) And I know how you spell your name, I added that 'e' deliberately, but that is another story.- uilleann

skylar: Care to explain? I think I over-dramatised the point somewhat. Nevertheless, something that I find appealing about people is nice names, and Skye was a particular fantasy name I chose. I think I got the idea from reading of someone with that name, although it is conceivable that I was just thinking of the Isle of Skye, though. The last name choice was Ilhá (short for Ilhánágio G'wrgagleθe (pron. Ilhyarnohhigh Goorhathlether, or something like that (impossible to spell phonetically in English) (for the Xirnannially challenged))).- uilleann Geek Culture Code
