oooo i just want a new dual g4.... not that I don't love my current one, but let's think....

i need a new optical drive 200$ (combo)
i need a better vid card (than the rage 128) 500$
i need far more hd... 200$
i'll need a new ultra ata interface... 150$
1050$ to upgrade the old one, or for 600 dollars mroe....

PC parts simply don't cost that much, unless you buy them at full retail prices!

Combo drive $99
Radeon 8500 $199
80GB HD $99 (this would be in addition to what you've already got)
Ultra ATA might cost $150

Looks like a $550 upgrade to me.

At the same time a dual 867 would be sweet.

I have a little problem with entry 41... Is that (assumed) superdrive actually bending CDs up or down or does it just push it through to the back?
