Hey everyone, I'm moving to Seattle later this month and just wanted to know where a good place was to meet geeky girls.

TX to WA? Talk about culture shock.

Sorry, I don't know how to find girls there, but I'd be interested to hear how you fare as far as differences go, despite being in the same country.

That, and the weather difference. Oi.

Best of luck, anyway.

Dark alleyways. If you don't see any, hide out there until you see a choice specimen walk by.

Um, anywhere really but I guess you could start with your nearest coffee shop(s). You'll be getting lots of coffee as the winter sets in anyways...

I'm partial to these folks for coffee in Seattle:
http://www.divaespresso.com/

Their website may not be grand, but their coffee certainly is...

Also, The Mix rocks... nothing quite like espresso dumped on top of chocolate ice cream to make my day. I encountered that years ago, and then a few months ago, some friends showed me "Cold Stone Creamery" - blergh...it was dreadful. Way overpriced, ridiculously long line, and I didn't even think the ice cream was any good.

/me has to go to Seattle again some day. [Razz]
