This is one of my pet peeves with phones, I mute the thing before going in to a meeting or show, and 3 days later find I've missed some calls because I forgot to un-mute it.
If anyone at Apple is reading, please can we have a 'Timed Mute' function, where I can say 'mute for the next N hours'?

Actually, if you set a reminder and you've got vibrate on, your phone will both vibrate when the reminder triggers and it'll have the "un-mute me!" reminder on screen from the notification centre when you next unlock it.

Thanks, that looks like just the thing.

n.b. I saw 'Cydia' mentioned - it looks like it requires a jailbroken iPhone.
I figured the reason another solution hadn't been quickly recommended is that Apple probably doesn't allow developers to touch those settings.
