We, of course, had a few nasty emails regarding our Prop 8 comic. (Hmmm, strange how people who claim to follow Jesus's teaching can have so much hate in them.)
But forget them, I just had to share this email, which I thought was just wonderful, and really made my year.
I have been a constant JoT reader for about two years now. To most people, that seems a little weird, but I just read webcomics every morning instead of paper comics. Anyhow, I have laughed, chucked, and "hmm"ed at your comics for two years, and I have shared many of them with my friends. But I never expected to be crying because of one.
Abolishing California's Proposition 8 is a cause about which I am very passionate. I have worked for volunteer groups, spread awareness as much as I can around my school and community, and publicly petitioned my heart out for this cause, but I never thought it would reach the point to which a massive webcomic that I love that is based outside of California would help this cause. So I want to say "thank you" with every fiber of my being. I am so touched that you would use this venue for promoting the repeal of Prop 8.
With many thanks and much love,
L.

Has no one complained about this hideous sin done to those Apple laptops by taping paper notes to them?! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Why should they complain? these machines come with spell-o-tape covering which makes the surfaces impervious to tape...
Btw Snaggy and Nitrozac, thanks from my heart too for supporting this cause, I'm not even north american and I'm deeply touched by the gesture. I hope it catches.

I think you got the JoyPoll wrong. Everyone knows the most likely gay characters in Peanuts were Peppermint Patty and Marcie.

What a wonderful note, Snaggy!
Have any other comics contributed yet?
I think it would be cool if UF outed Pitr and Stef.

As Kinky Friedman has said, "They have the right to be miserable like the rest of us."
