The Guardian picked The Joy of Tech as one of the top 100 sites for the year ahead...

(oh my, what does that bode for 2009??? [Razz] )

And we apparently are one of the Top 100 Web sites you must visit before you die...

as I said on Twitter, JoT's the Website Most Likely to Kill me. [Razz]

Cool.

[Applause] [thumbsup] [Applause] [thumbsup] [Applause]

Do you keep stats on visits to the site?
It'd be interesting to know how much extra traffic publicity like that generates.

The Guardian has delivered 4,474 visits so far. Not a lot, but hopefully a lot of new people. (It is a lot coming from that page though, considering all the links on that page!)

Blorge hardly any, under 50, but it was just posted today.

Here's to hoping we see some new blood around here. Not that we aren't all awesome. Just it seems like it's less lively than it used to be.

Pretty soon we'll all be in rocking chairs and saying things like "Back in my day there was no Gnome or KDE, we were grateful for the command line!" and "Damn kids! Get off my website!"
