Drat, too late! I was just going to post that. [Big Grin] I loved Foxtrot when it was still doing dailies. I am very glad to see he's starting to do better work with his Sunday-only schedule.

Plus, bonus, Bill Amend reads Joy of Tech!!! [thumbsup]

Well, I didn't figure I'd be the first. After all, I've been slaving over a misbehaving Digital Audio Workstation all night and all morning, so I didn't get around to reading the comics until nearly 1:00 central time. But it doesn't matter who's first. What matters is that Bill Amend just gave Joy (Ecstasy) of Tech a nice little plug.

Cool beans, guys. Hey, I love you both. (I mean... well... Maybe I love Nitrozac a little more, since she draws those tech talking tube boobs or... oh never mind) Anyway, I wish you guys were syndicated in every paper and magazine. Yours is one of about 10 comics that I read religiously. Seriously; I put on robes and hold a cross out in front of me, in case you have Ballmer with his tongue out. Ok, not really. I'm just full of gaseous humor today. I think that's what a misbehaving DAW (plugin, actually) will do to you after about 30 hours.

So, congratulations. By the way, has Steve been leaking stuff to you guys? It seems like you're always a step ahead of him, or else he's gotten really predictable in our old age.

Talk to y'all Later,

Shooshie

That is awesome! Fox Trot was always a must read daily comic for me.

Awesome!

I didn't entirely realize that Foxtrot was running on Sunday - I remembered Jess saying something about it going away, and must have misunderstood. Foxtrot certainly has a geeky slant, though it is a tad more mainstream than JoT. [Razz]

Sadly this one will probably be lost of many syndicated paper readers†...but it's *awesome!*

† Heck...I don't even know the "NPC" reference.

Oh-oh, Fame.

It'll be all wild poolside parties, cavorting naked with Angelina Jolie, snorting unidentified white powder through $100 bills, and electrified paparazzi-proof fences now.
In two years time, you'll be sharing a cell with Britney and selling your story to 'Who Weekly' to pay the rehab bills.
Oh the humanity!

Just a wild guess

If you watch 'The History Of NASA' backwards, it's about a space agency that has no manned spaceflight capability, then does low-orbit flights, then lands on the Moon.

That would be PVP.

Edit: Dang, beat by TFD by less than a minute.

It may be PVP, but I'm only loosely aware of it - I'm not a gamer. Likewise, I don't really follow Penny Arcade, but I do know their style after seeing many great strips online. (If I wasn't running out to visit a nearby coffee shop....I'd link those last few words to to 'the Internet [...] theory,' the 'beret' one, and the ahem...Twitter/iPhone one.)

Wow... a JoT reference in another comic! That's cool. And there's an xkcd reference, too. Those are the two english cartoon sites I visit regulary. (Plus one German: Nichtlustig.de)
