based on the info here:
http://vjarmy.com/archives/2008/01/howto_iphone_webclip_icons.php

http://articles.cameron.io/45/mint-icon-for-your-iphone

... I've created iPhone icons for the JoT and Geek Culture. Just wondering if anyone who has the latest software for iPhone or iPod Touch can test out webclips on the home page and the JoT page to see if it works. :-D

thanks in advance!

Unless I'm doing something wrong, it doesn't appear to be working for me. I tried making a webclip of http://joyoftech.com and http://www.geekculture.com and all I see is a snapshot of the current home page.

Yeah, same here... [Confused]

Maybe you could try the <link rel=... method. No idea why it isn't working.

Oh, how fscking wonderful. Does that mean iPhones are going to start bugging web servers just the same as many browsers (Firefox included) do for favicon.ico?

And the book of Apache said:
They shall come like a swarm of locusts, and be a plague upon the land; those
heathen iPhones and their wanton desire for apple-touch-icon.png files.
