The bottom line....all the cartoons, all the cat fights on blog forums don't amount to anything.

For reasons just too numerous to list, Vista will be the utterly overwhelming choice of operating systems for computer users all over the world. And, yes, MS will sell millions of copies of Vista to Mac users.

Apple needs to copy Microsoft's success in creating a World Standard operating system, with an utterly crushing lead in marketshare.

Apple needs to copy Microsoft's success in creating an aggregate PC community of hardware/software manufactures, developers and end-users second to none.

Good luck, mac children!

Vista's been released - you can go home now, Mr. Paid Shill.

Thank you and good day.

Last I checked, coffee holds the lead in market share over tea in the US, but I don't plan on switching just so I will be drinking the more popular product.

*sigh*

Just a couple of comments about this particular individual. If you look at his profile, you'll see the email address james.manning at mchsi.com. Every post so far is blatangly trollish, too. In addition, a search finds this.

I believe someone is trying to abuse another person's email account and get him spammed, flamed, etc.

Snaggy... any chance we can ban this idiot?

Steen & Snaggy______________________NO,NO,NO, don't do that, then it would look like we couldn't handle his prostelizing. Let him try to save us from Steve, he believes his is the true gosple. Let him preach.

Basically if we don't get in a big tizzy he will go away, so don't bite on his bait. Its probably a small worm anyway.

Hmm, looking at his posting history, he's even less convincing for his cause than some(well, one really) of our regular political thread contributors. Maybe if he shills enough here, he'll get paid enough to actually afford a usable(*) copy of Vista

(*) And no, the cheapest one isn't really usable to anyone much...

He forgot to use the word "Fanboys"

I don't see how that it's an insult. But maybe someplace it is an insult. Maybe in the forest it's an insult.

Oh well, This guy hasn't made any valid points yet. And he's not the brightest bulb on tree. If you go into a Catholic church and start spewing about athieism, think a lot of people will listen?

Not saying everyone here uses Mac's but the ones that do love them.

Then again, if he posted something reasonable, you would not respond, would you?

Ah, the superior life of a hypocrite.
