Olive him alone.

(I looked it up-olives are technically a condiment [Razz] )

Maybe I'm stupid but, I don't quite see what the connection is between Apple and Dijon Mustard. Can anyone enlighten me?

HP Sauce - *chortle*.

Calli - maybe the mustard connection is that Apple poop on their customers. [Razz]

Back in my day, we didn't have starships. We had to WALK form solar system to solar system. In six feet of snow!

Shoudn't that be 6 feet of darkmatter?? [Beard of Peter Gabriel!]

What is Whitener? Sugar? Creamer? I see a coffee cup on the package but still confused. Is this a Canadian thing?

Whitener is a quasi-creamer thing. It makes your coffee lighter without all the bother and flavor of real milk. Yech. Can't stand the stuff myself. Of course, I don't like Gateway computer's either. [Razz]

When I were a lad I used to eat Coffeemate right out of the jar - by the tablespoonful... after an hour or so of doing this I'd get so wired they'd have to peel me from the ceiling - using a winch. My teeth marks are probably still in the stucco (hey - it was the seventies).

Apparently if you sprinkle non dairy whitener on a naked flame you can get a monster flame out. Not quite as impressive as lycopodium though! [Wink]

Side note: I think the "thousand eyes" references really belong more to ESR than to Torvalds. From his famous The Cathedral and the Bazaar:

quote:
quote:
8. Given a large enough beta-tester and co-developer base, almost every problem will be characterized quickly and the fix obvious to someone.
Or, less formally, ``Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow.'' I dub this: ``Linus's Law''.
After a few minute of Google searching, I couldn't find any reference to Linus himself having said it. It appears to be an ESR meme, which has been subsequently picked up and quoted as the "thousand eyes" principle by all sorts of online publications.

I thought it was implying that if Apple were a condiment, it would be a fancy, high-end, niche condiment.
