A heavy metal box with sharp edges that can be used to rip open one's ribcage? That is, assuming your heart is your soul...

what rolls down stairs, and tumbles in pairs
and rolls over the neighbors dog

What fits on your back, and is good for a snack?

ZSR has very good answers. I like them.

I knew log log log was right, but it took me a while to remember why... Isn't it a Ren and Stimpy song?

I have a bunch posted on my page, currently there are 2 open riddles (I think) and I want to post a bunch later today.

Since I used this on my old site, I probably won't use it on my; so, I'll post it here.

"What goes up a chimney down, but can't go down a chimney up?"

An umbrella.

Patch upon patch, without any stitches. Tell me this riddle and I'll give you my breeches. (not really)

There is a noun of plural number
the foe to joy and peacefull slumber
when to that noun you add an 's'
changed is the metamorphosis
plural is plural now no more
and joy where sorrow was before

Can't be cares, b/c care isn't a foe to joy and peacefull slumber. I think it's fear and fears.

here is a noun of plural number
"He has much fear"

the foe to joy and peacefull slumber
"Too afraid to sleep"

when to that noun you add an 's'
changed is the metamorphosis
plural is plural now no more

He fears death.
The fear is now of one thing, and it's gone from a noun to an verb.

and joy where sorrow was before
Hmmmm... Fears is still present. I don't know how to satisfy this line.
