Damn...I [hearts] FiOS

Hell, my ping to DC is 40ms, with comparable speeds...
6 down to San Fran., 2 to London, with a consistent 1.7 up.

This has finally given me some proof that they really upgraded me to 10 Mbits for free...proof that competition is good. [Smile] (Cable has given them a run for the money. [Razz] )

If you work for an ISP, and your bandwidth is that lopsided, I'd suggest your ISP isn't very good. [Razz]

Woohoo, necro-party! We were recently strong-armed by TimeWarner into using RoadRunner instead of Earthlink. They were providing the pipe for Earthlink, but refused to allow Earthlink as the ISP for their "all-for-one" package. Annoying to change an email address we'd kept for 10+ years, but apparently my I'm not just imagining faster speed.

I had a bit of fun a few weeks ago... [Big Grin]

(And I'm going to call the uplink thing a fluke, as it should very nearly match the downlink. I don't think the speed tests can keep up for those of us with very fun connections. [Wink] )

Normally I would agree, however that test is just an anomaly, for some reason I can never get my true upload to show properly on that server, but its the best server for testing my download rate.

True upload is somewhere around 20-25mbps from what I've seen, though there are a lot of people on this line, it could be more.

Here is a better representation of my upload speed, though oddly this one undercuts my download speed:
