Woohoo! Just got it.
I'm actually pretty excited since this is the first Mac i've used properly in years.
Here's a pic of me looking puzzled at the shinyness of OSX.
Taken on the built-in iSight of course

w00t! What did you get? iMac or MacBook Pro?
I just got my shiny new MPB, and already I love it.
And think yourself lucky... my external HD died the other day. I lost lots of stuff that I'd rather not have lost.

Maximile,
I am very very disappointed in you! You must backup!
=) Tough lesson learnt I hope? I learnt it this way: When on a vacation I usually just copied the memory card of my camera onto my HD (not the ibook - other laptop), deleted the memory card and went on taking pics. The HD died and I lost all (some of them very really nice photos that I can't take again) photos.. Shitty, eh? I learnt that I need to have data stored in at least two independent places: -ie, CD and HD, on two computers,...

Congrats!
I purchased my MacBook Pro this past Saturday, and I cannot tell you how much I love it.
With all these built-in iSights, we'll have to put together a geekculture videochat one of these days. ![[Cool]](cool.gif)

I'm male.
And hairy.
You have more hair on my forearms than I do on my head.
OK, not really, but..

My parents had a choice to make at birth:
a human-ape hybrid with a high IQ
or a whole human child with an average IQ.
somehow they ended up with a human-ape hybrid with an average IQ.

Color me jealous.
I want a new IntelMac PowerBook.
And more hair.
You can keep the forearm stuff, I have plenty o' that. But the stuff that was once up North seems bent on migrating South. It's gettin' a tad chilly up there.

Yeah... but this HD was the backup. I'd just had the internal HD in my old laptop break, which was luckily (thanks to ajm) backed up on my external one. Unfortunately, it seems that lightning does strike twice in the same place. On my hard disks. Or something.
I've been playing UT2k4... Put all the settings up to their highest... oh, wow... I didn't even know that games looked like this. And it's all going at 40-60fps! And if feels so sturdy compared to my TiBook; no paint to fall off.

Hello everyone, I got my MacBook Pro two weeks ago and so far haven't been able to take my fingers off of it. I'm in love with a little metal piece - quick someone get me a therapist!!!
