Our last day was the 21st. Finals were the 17th and 18th. AHHHH, I'm so glad it's over. I'm extremely excited for both this summer and next school year, because they *will* be the best. I'm taking PreCalculus, AP Bio., AP U.S. History, and AP English III... beautiful. I'm doing Running Start part-time as well and am already set for the Intro. Into Programming class for fall quarter. One quarter of work, and I've got my 1.0 HS credit and 5 for college - easy nickels, I tell ya!

I believe I know/can guess all of my grades for this year:

English II Hnrs - A+
Leadership - A+
Alg. II/Trig Hnrs - B+/A- (I bombed on a test; I never test well in math)
Chemistry - B+ (Unsure, I atomic-mushroom-bombed the final...)
World History Hnrs - B (I hate those, no +/-)
Spanish - A+

Not my best, but what can I say - you win some, you lose some. I really don't know what happened in World History... *shrug.* With Chemistry, it wasn't that I didn't understand it. Everytime the teacher called on me to answer a question, I answered correctly. I just didn't have any interest in it, which is not at all typical of me. If I had it my way, I'd go through college twice - once for the masters in one subject and then again so I can take a class from every subject.

This was the busiest, most hectic, and most eventful year ever. The big thing about this year was that I had to give up a lot of things in order to gain other, more important things. For example: last school year I only hung out with a friend outside of school once, because I was being lazy and ungrateful and not taking the initiative. This year I went out with my friends frequently, and it got me more happiness, energy, and thankfulness. I built better connections with my friends, and now I actually have something to do this summer! This past Sunday, I got no sleep because I was so excited, so I wrote a letter to my friends and baked cranberry muffins for them [Big Grin] . The letter is two pages long, so I won't post it, but it basically talks about the meaning of/in life, some things I recommend to them (to do, see), and things to remember during the summer.

Anywho, enough of that. Lucky clovers to everyone with exams! Deep breathes!

Oh, like, tell me about. I'm so - like, you know! It's, like, really hard to keep my hair so shiny with all this exam stress. Here's how I think it went:

Posing - possibly A+ - I'm especially good at the naughty girl stuff.
Shopping - like, duh! It's, like, totally my major. I give lessons in this shit.
yakking on the phone - A+. Definitely. A girl's gotta have a career.
eye make-up - I think I did good on that too - at least an A-. I could probably major in this at college, if the whole mall-zombie thing doesn't work out.

All in all, I think I rather sailed it - yay for me! Best of luck to everyone else! [Smile]

I think I did rather well this year.

First Semester

Drafting I - 4.0
Geometry - 4.0
Health and PE - 4.0
Earth Environmental Science - 4.0

Second Semester

Honors English I - 5.0
Honors World HIstory - 5.0
Algebra II - 4.0
Computer App I - 4.0

Not bad for my freshman year. Finished first in me class out of 144, but for my school, that's not saying much.

No, my girlfriend is tied for number one with me, along with some of my best friends. It's quite odd actually. There are about 5 intelligent people at my school, and we are all #1 (we had limited honors classes, ok?) and all friends. Strangely enough, the resident pothead is also #1 (he took his hard classes before he got doped up) so, I mean, it's not saying much.

Me, I only have one course; it's called

Life

I'm not sure what my grade is, the teacher won't tell me. And tests seem to be given so often, with no notice...

I wish I had studied a little harder. [Wink]

Not all North Carolinians are Bible thumpers. Though at times it seems that way. Seems like only my girlfriend and I are alone: she's aethiest, I'm agnostic.

Anybody else eagerly awaiting AP exam results? Myself, I'm counting down the days to see what I got on English Lit and Comp, Physics C, French Language, and Calculus AB. Not that it matters anyway, I can scarcely get credit for anything where I'm going to college. Bogus.

On another note, my brother, now a HS senior, got his second set of ACT scores yesterday, and now we have a 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35 in the family...weird.

That would never have worked at my school - we'd have been too whacked out on tippex thinner to coordinate our hands (ah, those were the days - thunderbird and glue... )
