The benifits of FIBER.

Wish I got my fiber daily.

*sigh*

That's actually better fiber than I get at work, let alone home. :/
But...Google can't spy on my every packet with either of the above.

It's certainly cool what they're doing, but... *shudders*

The aussie National Broadband Network provides gigabit fibre internet.
It's only just started rollout, so only a lucky few have it yet, but the plan is to reach 93% of the aussie population by 2021.

In Canadia, Bell keep putting on adverts saying how wonderful and cheap FibreOp is -- only, you can't friggin' get round these parts, and if you could it would cost zillions. Bastards. Meanwhile we pay a fortune for shite.

edit: just to clue you in on how behind-the-times we are in Nova Scotia, they've only just started hiring for our first Apple Store in Halifax. Presently, the nearest one is probably Boston.

Hmm. I live in greater(?) London, and I can't get cable, so I'm stuck on ADSL, and that has regular drops.

We may have a lot of local Apple stores, but I'd rather have a faster connection.
