gg Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.

Young man, there's a place you can go.
I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.
You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time.

It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A.

hee hee. I know it's utterly cruel, but the Vol Fire Dep across the street from us rents out on weekends for parties, weddings, Bar Mitvahs pretty much every week during the summer. It's almost like being on a weekend cruise, every weekend. Did I mention I don't listen much to the radio anymore?

aw man, I'm gonna have that stuck in my head all day tomorrow.

the sad part is, it tool me a while to actually know what it is.

in my defense, I haven't heard the song in quite a while, fortunately.
