Traveling and you think your locked luggage is safe and sound?
You will say "I know I packed it!"
Your spouse will say, "You just thought you did, it is at home exactly where you left it."

It might not be.

Kinda reminds me of the time I was flying into Bali... my backpack was late coming out the baggage conveyer belt, so I stuck my head through the flaps to see what was up... there was the airport staff digging through all my stuff! [Mad]

Really, transporting anything of value in a non-carry-on piece of luggage is asking for it to go missing.

Though, you may have to pack/repack things into said carry-ons, if the TSA says so. The components of my dismantled desktop leap to mind... [Wink]

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!

For that matter, am I the only person deeply suspicious of "TSA approved" luggage locks? I think I'd rather find it a real (useless, per this) lock cut off than silently opened. What I'm most concerned about is the loss of that master key. Hell, I'll bet at least one has already been lost and shrugged off. To acknowledge that it's been lost would cause a mass recall and probably kill off the very last vestiges of trust in TSA.

There are three things you can be sure of in life: Death, taxes, and reading about fake illnesses online...
