My husband and I wondered who ordered a book when he picked up the box today, but the light didn't dawn until he opened it. I think at first he thought it was a belated wedding present because it was wrapped so beautifully. I only thought of taking a photo and showing y'all what it looked like after I had destroyed the seal holding the notecard to the ribbon.

But then, voila! I was holding Jess's book in my hand. Jess, I know it's an awesome feeling for you to have a published book, but I find it very exciting to know that I know (sort of!) the people who wrote this book and created the cover. I'm looking forward to taking some time to read this book. (I have another to finish first.) I could hardly stop reading the first few chapters posted online; I hope the rest of the book is as captivating.

WS and Jess, is there a way to post reviews on Amazon? I'll do so after I've finished reading.

Change the way you SEE, not the way you LOOK!

That is fantastic! It is a gorgeous cover, isn't it? Let me know when you and your dog-eared copy make it near Disneyland any time in the future, and I will take my special signing pen (WS bought me a Waterman for the occasion) to it.

Hearing your delight at getting it was like having it happen all over again. So many little bright twinkle-light moments make up this party: the release date, the actual release, the ISBN, the first purchases off of Lulu.com, the listing all over the world, and now someone being excited to see my book.

I'm glad WS got them wrapped -- I think it makes it more of a celebration. [Big Grin]

Thank you, again, for your enthusiasm. I'm grinning from ear to ear.

Opinion is not Truth; that is why each has its own definition. Illiteracy sucks.
