Another Wednesday One instead of a Friday Five.
If you have a vanity plate what is it and why did you pick it? If you don't have one, do you have one you want and why?

As a longtime Doctor Who fan, I always wanted one that said TARDIS, but someone in my state already has it. Also I might be to cheap to pay that extra fee to keep it each year. Vanity plates would be a better deal if you just paid a one time fee.

Given my opinion of people who get those plates, I'd have to go for WANKER

I heard of one that was quite good, a ute ('pickup truck' to you furriners) with the plates EIEIO. It was driven by an elderly farmer named MacDonald.

We can do that sorta thing here. [Big Grin]

No, I totally understand. NTZSCHE just looks weird. [Razz]

EDIT: I'd post my plate, but since it contains a reference to my first and last name, I'd rather not.

I used to have a vanity plate, but I dropped it this year because I just couldn't justify the extra cost any longer. MAC MAN was already taken in my state [Frown] ... so I used to have LXNG33K. It was originally on the bus, then was transferred to my Buick, then my new(er) Buick. Now the Buick has a plain old regular plate on it, and the bus is currently unregistered, but will be registered soon enough.

I need to come up with a good vanity plate for the bus, something that exudes Christian-hippieism... LUV1AOTHR.. that's too long to fit on a plate, I think. I'm sure PEACE and LOVE have already been taken, DOPE is a bad idea unless you really like getting pulled over, so is 420 247.... and not very "Christian" either.

I was thinking of TRDSWHO. Think they'd let me use PERTWEE? (That's for you longtime Who fans) [Big Grin]

I have a school license plate from the University of Central Florida but it's not a vanity plate. Was thinking of getting a plain plate as it is more expensive to keep the UCF one.
