As if the little hand holding otters weren't adorable enough, here's little Knut. He's the baby polar bear that was rescued when his mom (the poop) rejected him. How could she? *waves fist* He's sooo cute!
Here he is starring in his own music video. The music is seriously scary, but Knut is worth it.

And here he is again, getting out and about. You have to listen to about 28 seconds of German from the anchorwoman, so if you don't speak it, I can translate.

Since this is a thread for cute stuff, here is the vid for the little paw holding otters, too. All the cute you can stand, in one convenient place.

Appreciate the idea, boo... Believe me, I'd hate to turn this thread into a flame-war like all the others, but don't you think it's just a bit pointless to create a thread like this? If we want to look at cute stuff, can't we just direct our browsers to sites which specialise in this kind of thing, e.g. www.cuteoverload.com ...? Or post only the kind of cute things that people might not come across on their own - instead of the type of pic which is all over the internet already?
Or, perhaps, if people do feel the need to earnestly discuss all things... fluffy... people could let others know what kind of cute sites the frequent. It's a bit annoying to see Today's Active Topics spammed with pictures of animals I could find for myself, should I want to.

I think the etiquite is simple. It's OK to show people pictures of your own kids, but it's a little weird to show them pictures of someone else's kids. The same applies to furry pets. (No matter how tasty they are)
PS: I think the hamster (gerbil?) holding the cage lid is great, but I still would not pass it on to my close friends and family list.

If this is part of the "post more" campaign in order to annoy people referred to in another thread, it's working.
Oh yes, and image leeching is bad.

boo________ cute pics. but i will have to go with skylar on this one that it might be more productive to post pictures which haven't surfaced yet. No offense intended but the pictures did get me to say "awww cute" but then i realized that they were just generic pictures from a site and they lost all meaning.

No, I don't think it's pointless. I think it's a nice break from the other threads. And I never heard of that site, so thanks for mentioning it. But if someone doesn't like this type of thing, fine .. just don't look or post in here.

His name is Beau, and he likes trying to eat my shoes... and he's a newfie (newfoundland for those of you who aren't dog people )

Actually, ImgRed seems to be working. boo just used <a=href anchors which aren't supported by UBB. Here is her post with the correct tags:
*edit*
ImgRed is down yet again so ****'em... we don't need broken image links here. Here's the Coral Cache version. Thanks to dragonman97 for the reminder.

Steen, it's working now, but when I visited yesterday it (and other sites using it) were all pointing to a huge 404 page. Hence my point.
Sure, it' working now, but that doesn't matter. They have a flawed business model and their servers were down twice yesterday that I noticed.

They have a business model? I hadn't noticed anything of the sort. I expect them to fail eventually, but while they're around, they are cutting down on bandwidth leeching. As far as being down yesterday... maybe it was a fluke, maybe not. I can't find any information on their reliability.
If you don't like it, don't use it. I don't. I just posted it because it seemed like a simple solution for those who don't have their own webserver space to put things on *shrug*

This is geekculture... who doesn't have a webserver?
And I will definitely not be using them. At all. For anything. I don't trust a "company" like that... it just creeps me out. The have no contact, no about, no nothing. Just "hey, point to me and I'll cache these pictures for you for free".
