I know one of the processes shown was manufacturing proteins from mRNA but that's about it for me.

Totally amazing

I don't understand any of it... I guess protein encoding and the like is involved but I never got past basic human biology at school...

The "feet on a rope" towing a huge balloon totally got me... What the hell is that about? But knowing it is all real and going on inside all of us makes it beautiful - and yet more alien than any SF vision I have ever seen...

Just amazing work - thanks for sharing it just on an aesthetic level never mind what it actually represents... (whatever it is)!

I was really curious about that one too. According to one of the animators, it's "a motor protein that’s sort of walking along a line, carrying this round sphere of lipids."

Edit: Found a more complete explanation.
