This week I have driven 4500 miles. I drove from NY to LA to Washington state and back to LA, then out to the desert and back to LA. And I still need to drive another 7 hours before the week is out. Someone please tell me, when are we getting flying cars? My poor Volvo needs less friction in its life. My friend sent me this this morning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFfbk25gjs8 Are those real? If they’re out there, I need them.

There are much better (and faster) Saabs out there. This particular one is equipped to deal with any road rage incident [Smile]

I think the general consensus is that it's a 'viral marketing' campaign. It seems to be very well done, though.

Here's a real prototype flying car.

Don't get your hopes up of getting one any time soon though. They will probably be so costly when they first come out that only the very rich could afford one.

CrawGator__________-I think I saw a similar flying car for about 3.5 million. I can't find the link anymore.

Marketing? So well done that I don't know what's being marketed, I guess. Any guesses? There's a third video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ufUzlrpPZE

I looked. It's an attempt at viral marketing. The videos are faked for some kind of GM commercial.

Do you know anything about maglev? It has to be done on a bed of magnets, and control of the vehicle has always been a major issue.
