Just a suggestion: you could try making your own [Razz]
You could make a sceptre as well. Then you can be Miss Electric Universe.

Mrs Druid (a jeweller by trade) used to make jewellery incorporating various electronic components.

I used to love going with her to electronics suppliers and watching the looks on the sales-droids faces when she asked "do you have these in any other colours?"

If you watch 'The History Of NASA' backwards, it's about a space agency that has no manned spaceflight capability, then does low-orbit flights, then lands on the Moon.

Well, if I ever date a geek girl who digs jewelery, I know what to get now. [Razz]

Hell, even if she's not a geek girl, it's what she'll get anyway. [Wink]

Tell me, would a girl like a necklace made out of Cat-5? [Big Grin]

Mrs druid made me an 8088 tie-pin once, if you pry off the top and reveal the actual silicon chip underneath they look really cool.
I suppose I still have it somewhere, it's years since I had a tie-wearing job.

I'd love functional stuff too. Like a cat-5 necklace that couldwork as a patch cable in a pinch or something. And, that tiara is cool, but to be truly geekgirl worthy, it needs LEDs. [Wink]

Heh...someone after my own tastes. [Razz] Mind you, I was thinking of making something more along the lines of a belt... [Wink]

Really? I've found LEDs so overused and common in absolutely everything now, that I hate to see them unless they're used in a real practical application (like in a flashlight..)

We are talking about a resistor tiara here. This is basically an item of apparel that exists solely to be gaudy, and resistors really just aren't that shiny.

I'm wondering if maybe you could build in a wifi detector or something useful, and then the LEDs could display useful information.
