That was some pretty uninspired baton twirling. But a synchronised dancing tank army-- I want one! [thumbsup]

Wow. That completely smokes Rosa Helikopter. [Wink]

Still, when it comes to stormtrooper imagery and tanks, I'll favor Emily Haines any day of the week.

Wow. Basement Jaxx as envisioned by Leni Riefenstahl. I think I liked the pink gorilla better, honestly. Though dancing tanks are awesome. [Wink]

On another note, was there supposed to be audio with this? 'Cause if there was, I have some Quicktime tinkering to do...

There is audio, but I'm not sure it matters as the song is generic thumpy dance stuff. Siouxsie Sioux sings the vocals and I like her voice, so I can halfway listen to it, but the lyrics are a bit on the moronic side even for dance music.

But seeing an Ethel Merman movie recreated with tanks and helicopters... now that I liked [Smile]

(As a side note, I had to edit this post because I misspelled Ethel as Ethyl [Roll Eyes] )

"sing" the vocals? I thought that was talking in time. I was truly unimpressed with it... It deserves to land in the same bin as Rosa's HeliKopter and Gunthur's (sp?) "Ding Dong Song".

It won't work on my computer !
All I can see when it comes up in the new window is a blank square and those tiny colored shapes in the top corner.
Thank goodness I'm on a geek site... any suggestions ?

That wasn't too bad - I'll take tanks, cheesy dance music and an exceedingly cute mushroom cloud over some jpop-like junk any day [Smile]

Your missing the proper plugin.
You can download it directorly, and open it using a standalone player; or grab a plugin from the web.

What Browser/OS are you using?

Hmm...some kind of trainwreck fascination just led me to do a search on YouTube:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=4Hlw5lHns5Q&search=helikopter

Yes...for anyone who's been deprived of Rosa Helikopter...you don't have to worry about having WMP anymore. Personally, I'll take the tanks any day of the week. [Razz]

Speaking of YouTube...here's the kind of tank music video I prefer... they aren't quite as pristine as the CG ones. [Razz]

http://youtube.com/watch?v=MjRPQGV3EV0&search=metric%20combat%20baby

And...given this history of AY2K, etc...it has boots!

Ironically enough, I meant to make such a post a good while ago when I'd found it in iTMS (back when they were free) [and in fact, the 'free' is how I first heard Metric] ...but I never got around to it...and YouTube didn't exist then.
