Lets see who has cool websites!

My blog and stuff, which hasnt been updated in awhile, is on www.forgottenrobot.com

I noticed there was a thread on context-free here, that is actually where the images came from.

I just opened a bike community site and am attempting to get some traffic at www.bacyclist.org. Still working out the kinks and style issues with the software installed, but its getting there.

Anyone have anything cool? I know you can easily put mine to shame, lets see it...

I haven't updated my Website in a while, but it's at http://rhonwyyn.silver-blade.net . I update my Xanga fairly regularly, though. You'll have to join my protected list to see the really significant info, sorry! http://www.xanga.com/rhonwyyn

http://www.geekview.com/

I basically bitch and moan about everything that pisses me off -- which is pretty much everything. [Wink]

The site renders entirely in css though, with no tables. And works nicely still if you turn off css and/or images.

And it's xhtml compliant and passes all accessibility compliance checks.

.. sorry, I can't brag about the sites content, so I have to brag about its technology instead. [Razz]

Here are most of mine:

maximile.net - In progress (should be up around Easter time). It'll be a bit of a blog, and will have all the animation I do in college up on it. Might be interesting in a year or two.

Luwmis - A floral stock photography website. I did the web design / programming, my friend took the photos. Not the most advanced website in the world, but it has some cool features - try misspelling a search. :-) In the end, the business side of this seemed too daunting for me, so it's just left up there to see if anyone e-mails us.

nice shop good things - A domain I've always wanted (and now own) because it was what I was going to call my shop, when I was about seven. I hope to use it for something interesting in the future.

And here's a few that I did for other people, some time ago. They might not comply with W3C standards, and I think I'd do them differently now.

Convivium - A food/wine quarterly

Bryan's Ground - a garden, no longer open to the public.

Simon Dorrell's Page - a gallery site for an artist.

Reservoir Geology Consultants Limited - a site for a geology company.

scum.fateback.com : I haven't touched it in a long time, though, so the HTML on there's a bit of an abomination.

Thanks. It came with the WordPress theme I'm using, so I can't take credit for it. But I like it a lot too.

I like creating pages, but have the world's most boring blog. Osten Ard http://sithi.livejournal.com/

I also have two blogs that are sort of related to my work. Reference World http://referenceworld.blogspot.com/ And Books to Curl Up With http://bookcurl.blogspot.com/

I keep wanting to learn to do PHP, which would motivate me to do a real page.

Here's my clunky, fugly little site...

I'm working on a new version that's more up to date (the work on my current site is all at least a year old, and I've done a lot more in that last year) and more web-friendly. But coding is not my strong point, so it will take a while yet.

I've got two websites - one is a science blog, Illuminating Science. The other is a website about dilemmas and tricky situations (e.g., "You scrape an expensive car on the way out of the carpark. No-one sees you do it. Would you leave a note?") and people vote on it (and aruge! [Smile] It's called The Dividing Line.

There's some cool websites posted here [Smile] Good thread!

If you want to illumnate science, here's a cool tool

http://futureboy.homeip.net/frinkdocs/

It's sort of like a calculater that really understands units at a deep level. So it won't let you add things like feet and grams, but it will let you multiply them and figure our the forces involved. Two thumbs up.

I have a big sprawling blog with lots of different mini-sites over two domains:

http://www.jngm.net/ - portal on the home page, with my writing blog (inert) and some other archival stuff

http://www.geekicon.net - "keep family updated" style blog and web techy stuff

My own gfx and code, powered by some python cgi scripts and a postgresql database. [crazy]
