Colin Pillinger reckons he has found his lost beagle; details here.

Apparently he has had an old RAF expert who used to interpret spy photos looking at the Mars surface, and reckons that a few spots show his lost lander.

Now I'm no expert, but it looks a bit blurry to me. I'm not sure that there is any justification to interpret this as his probe. What do you guys think? Is he just reading too much into it out of blind hope?

Looks awfully blurry to me. I guess his explanation is slightly more likely than the spots in the image being signs of an actual Martian civilization, though. Maybe he should un-bunch his knickers until NASA provides higher-res imagery [Big Grin]

Paging Dr. Rorschach...

"Excuse me, Doctor, but what do you see when you look at this?"

"A Poodle. Definitely. Not a Beagle, but a Poodle."

'Tis neither. All I see is an image of Elvis.

I'm sure I've seen that picture before... yeah, it was on the grassy knoll.
