NOTE: If you haven't seen the movie yet, this pretty much spoiles -everything-, but really... it comes out on DVD in two days. Your silly arse should have seen it by now.

"Whedon, you bastard!

LOL... I watched the DVD again last night (the real one, came from Amazon already), and this flick STILL kicks A$$. The third time I've seen it (2x in theatre), and I still laugh and weep at the appropriate places.

If you haven't seen it, GET THE RUTTIN' DVD! [Big Grin]

bah, the UK release isn't until the end of Feb [Frown]

Might just buy the US version to tide me over until it's out [Smile]

and just in case any hollywood types are reading (switches to uncomplicated words)... DVD Region Encoding *BAADD*. This is the only film I would consider buying the UK specific version as well as the US version. Normally I will buy whichever version is the cheapest or out soonest and play it on my region free DVD player (like anyone else with more than 2 brain cells).

DVD is released in Feb here also, but of course with the time zone difference, that's only a couple of weeks away.

The word is we're getting a special aussie edition, with extras from the aussie Q&A sessions Whedon did at some test screenings here early on. This would be unusual, usually we either get the European versions (complete with soundtracks/subtitles in all manner of Strange Foreign Tongues) or if it is an aussie release, it's without the extras most other markets got.

If you watch 'The History Of NASA' backwards, it's about a space agency that has no manned spaceflight capability, then does low-orbit flights, then lands on the Moon.

Oops. [blush] Wrong thread.

I don't know what I was thinking... it seemed like a good idea at the time.
