Just this one time, I hope someone out there appreciates the incredible amount of self control it is costing me not to respond to this... [Big Grin]

If a picture is worth 1.0*10^3 words, then Nitrozac and Snaggy have been blogging since before the dawn of blogs. There are a lot of Joys of Tech! [Big Grin]

The good thing about being around before blogs were blogs is that you can swing either way. "How dare you call JoT a blog! We're a web comic! We were around when blogs were just a loose synapse in Dave Winer's subconscious!" Or, "Of course it's a blog! It's updated on a regular schedule and has an RSS feed! And archives organized by date!"

Then again, the entire internet was created by humans in one way or another. All humans who create the internet have day-to-day lives, so if the internet is the collective experience of our lives, does that mean everything on the internet is a blog?

I shudder to think of the idea. Reading certain mailing lists, though, your idea almost has more credence. Perhaps that's why I'm almost afraid to read my Gmail. [Razz]
