What? Gillian's not /that/ old.

She's still pretty good looking, and more importantly, appears to actually have a *brain*.

Seems to me she probably *still* needs a walker, or a stroller or somethin'. She's just a kid, ya know.

My husband did a cool mod on my very, very old laptop that I just use for writing now. It is now bright green with a frog on the cover! Woohoo! Plus I got a custom desktop theme complete with "ribitt" sounds.

I feel special now... [hearts]

Umm, with your propensity toward spelling errors (cite: s/gabe/gave), I haven't a clue what your gift is. What's a bigtic? I surmise it's a watch from the fossil and face reference. Am I correct?

Well, I got a mixture of clothes, food, and some books I was after. As for what I gave, foodstuffs, and a custom calendar with 12 of my photos. Came out brilliantly, I'm definitely doing the same again next year.

I don't mind tools. I volunteer for Habitat. I've got tons of tools.
It just bugs me that he doesn't get me a gift that shows he was thinking about me as a person. I really think about his gift and likes.

Sounds to me like he was thinking about you and the fact you have tools and volunteer for Habitat.
