Captain Vic ______That little youngin, sure looks like a Patrick, a Shane, Liam and or Sean to me. Good luck in raising the boys.

Just a note I thought I'd add. An Irish friend of mine pointed out that Sean (in Gaelic, pronounce "a-hoyne", as there's an accent on the 'e') is the Irish form of John, so that sort of meets the "J" criterea.

Vic, congrats indeed.

/me pulls an espresso for Vic in preparation for sleepless time periods... [Big Grin] . That, and I don't drink much...but espresso is a favorite of mine [Smile] .

Cheers,

I've always heard that Ian was the Gaelic form of John (and it's pretty common in the UK, too ... too bad I live in the States, where no one can pronounce it!). Maybe Ian or Sean are Welsh?

Actually my mom was expecting twins at one time and my parents were going to name one Ian (Scots Gaelic) and Sean (Irish Gaelic). They would both be John that way. My parents thought it would be funny.

I like Julian. If you're still having trouble picking a name there are some good ones in this thread:

Justin Allan is the name. His brother insists on calling him Sammy for some odd reason though.

Congratulations to Cap'n and Mrs. Vic, and to young Justin Allan! I've brought along some free drinks from Socrates Bar & Grill to help celebrate...

That's what you get for leaving the Sammy Hagar records out. [Big Grin]
