I've always been preferential to Justin as a boy's name. Y'know, "Justin Case" it's a boy?!?!

Actually, that's a good point. It's probably a good idea to have a girls name on standby, too. Although they get the gender right almost every time these days, there are still occasions where they slip up.

Oh, and congrats Cap'n, have another cosmic cigar on me.

Geez, haven't heard *that* one before. [Roll Eyes]

[Razz] When your name is Justin, you get that *all* the time, and everyone who does it thinks they're the most clever person in the world. [Razz]

Too much going on in my head right now I guess...

Congats again to you and Mrs Vic and hope you find a name that suits you all

Whew! Whatta a day. Left the house at 6 AM. Went thru Timmies for a bagel w/ cream cheese sat around the hospital 'til 9 then they preped her and down to the OR.

C-section goes by the book. It always amazes me how surgery is so 'mechanical" lots of cutting, pulling, pushing etc etc. His head is out and already he is crying for his first breath, they pull him out, disconnect and clean him up. I hold him, rocking him, also trying to comfort Mrs Vic when I notice my hospital issue scrub pants are around my ankles [Eek!] I thought it felt cold in here. In my haste I forgot to tie up the draw strings on my pants. I ask a nurse to hold the baby while I pull them up. I'm the only one laughing. Good thing I wore the 'good underwear' today. Priceless.

As they stitch up Mrs Vic the new boy and I head up to the room, soon she follows. All is well 8 pounds 11 ounces and healthy as a horse. Here is a pic.

A quick beer for me, then off to bed. Thaks for all the good wishes....still no name for the baby....

Although I like Julian and Jolan, thanks for the tip, I'll pass 'em by Mrs Vic in the AM. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz [tired]
