But what kind of name is Sedna? Yes, I know it's an Inuit deity and all that, and also Andes spelled backwards, but it still sounds like an insurance company, or a laxative.
If they want to add made-up planets, let them at least give them cool names, like UnPlanet, or Squiff. [Wink]

I think it should be called Rupert in hommage to DNA, and millions of others agree with me, so you had better watch out hadn't they guys... guys?

Could this be the legendary 'Planet X' ?

If you watch 'The History Of NASA' backwards, it's about a space agency that has no manned spaceflight capability, then does low-orbit flights, then lands on the Moon.

Although 'Sedna' sounds like the name of a wonky-faced chick in high school with horrific acne, that yer mates would joke about you shagging.

Yeah, you shagged sedna, and she smells like fish.
I wouldn't mind getting it on with a goddess myself, but unless Rosie Palm becomes deified, there's little chance of that.

That's not a planet!!!

That's the spaceship THEY came on. And that certainly isn't a moon. That's the ship THEY use to harvest humans for THEIR experiments. And mutilate cattle, and make crop circles, and stuff.

Or maybe not.

Better than Quaoar. At least "Sedna" is pronouncable, and not some vowel repository of the ancients. Or would you prefer they call the new planetoid by its official designation, 2003 VB12? It's kinda catchy...
