Because you're obviously a psychic -- that's what's going to happen.. [ohwell]

As per Unixcub... apparently s/he's a being-smart-enough-to-send-an-actual-valid-e-mail-addy-to-a-site-you-want-to-join cub, too. D'Oh!

I suppose... perhaps UnixCube could get a Yahoo! account? They filter e-mail like a colander filters water -- not at all. Even when you have "the protections" up... [Smile]

Does anyone actually watch the Screen Savers? I only watched part of one episode, when TMBG was on, and it was really painful. Kind of like CNN, only not as exciting.

I watch it regularly. The goofballs may be an acquired taste, but once acquired addictive. It was a great plug. I wondered what it would do to traffic right after.

I've been watching it since the days of ZDTV. Even though the majority of info is windows related I learn something everytime. And they make learning fun.

DB was on! at about 5 minutes in, right after the "dark tip" joke, they show the "mac crowd", and DB is in the back row, far right, in a black shirt.

How long have they had these hosts? I remember the two old guys, who were very annoying.

The blonde is pretty hot [hearts] .

Ahhh... the old ZDTV days. Fond memories. Screensavers is a good show. I think I caught on with Call for Help though. And Extended Play (now X-Play) when Adam had a different cohost.

Ah yes that would be the lovely yet quirky Kate Botello. She was the cohost of The ScreenSavers and then went to Extended Play.

Actually according to the show notes the hosts that day were Sarah Lane and Kevin Rose. They were only temporarily taking over as hosts but they're regulars on the show. Pat and Leo were at CES, and yes they're somewhat an acquired taste... well Leo is anyway, but amid all the news I got on slashdot that day, they do usually throw out a few interesting bits of info.

By the way, the hosts of X-Play are Adam Sessler(crazy lanky blond guy) and Morgan Web (mmmmm *droool* geek sexpot [Razz] )
