They're definitely out there. They may not look like Brad Pitt, but then that's not what I go for anyway. I fell for my geek the moment I saw him *awwe, how sweet*. His eyes and smile captured my attention, and then his intellect and sense of humor sealed the deal. I had the same misconception that there weren't any attractive men out there who also shared my love of the geeky arts, but you just have to look hard. Besides, when you find someone you truly love, they'll be adorable to you even if they look like this:

Ok, well, maybe not. But, you can always try to clean them up a bit. [Wink]

No, none whatsoever. The only good looking guys are himbos like Fabio. Brains and physical appeal, pick one, you know.

"Now, beshrew
my father's ambition! he was thinking of civil wars
when he got me: therefore was I created with a
stubborn outside, with an aspect of iron, that, when
I come to woo ladies, I fright them. But, in faith,
Kate, the elder I wax, the better I shall appear:
my comfort is, that old age, that ill layer up of
beauty, can do no more, spoil upon my face: thou
hast me, if thou hast me, at the worst; and thou
shalt wear me, if thou wear me, better and better"

Wow, I just saw the word "himbo" and bust out laughing. That's quite possibly one of the funniest words I've ever seen, don't ask me why...

Nerd Hunting, For Fun and Profit
----------------------------------------------
There are many geek guys that don't look too bad. They're just too embarassed to admit they're geeks. As president of my high school's game club, and heavy recruiter, I've managed to find the inner geek in many people, be it modelling, TCGs, RPs, computers, gaming, etc. Most people are too embarassed to admit it though. Bring up a variety of geeky topics in conversation, ever so casually. If they display some tidbit of knowledge on the subject, pursue further. That usually brings the blighters right out.

Wow Cap'n. You sure got better looking since high school! [Wink]

Anyway...

Finding a geek attractive is like finding any other "type" of person attractive, you have to figure out what it is that attracts you to them. If all you want is spectacular good looks, then likely you are not going to find that in your average geek. You gotta set your priorities straight.
