They just commissioned the new USS George H.W. Bush air craft carrier. Wouldn't it hav ebeen easier to paint a target pn the side of the sip would bushes face in the middle.
This is goign to be the sweetest target for every idiot out there with a boat packed with high explosives.

That might be the point though. a giant bullet magnet is probably a lot cheaper than fitting a force shield to all the other ships in the fleet.
