BBC headline: "Great tits cope well with warming"

My poor, insulated, American brain can't cope with such titillating titles. I just automatically leap to the wrong conclusion.

Man - here in the UK the whole "pink" CAMP humour thing is so ingrained into popular culture that we don't even notice it any more...

Great Tits perform BETTER after warming might just catch our attention... but otherwise it hardly registers - honest

Mind you, it's currently /the/ most popular story to be e-mailed from BBC News. [Razz]

However, it's the second most read one, bested only by the "Weekly World News Quiz." Only in the land of the pub quiz would such a story be a leader...

I hope we never become that conditioned on this side of the pond!

I don't know what I was thinking... it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I can't help but imagine that not only did the BBC science reporters compete for that story, but the guy who got it had a lot of fun writing it.

Whoa! I'm pretty sure such an assertion warrants photographic evidence, YaYa. [Big Grin]

If it weren't for the horrible weather, this is the type of thing that would induce me to move to the British Isles.

That, and I love British/Irish/Australian/Scottish/Welsh/You_get_the_picture accents. Well, I also have a thing for accents in general. Coming from the Midwest US, everything is so flat. So, so flat. Except for the great tits.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

You know mighty club that is an interesting suggestion. I am getting back into shape and working on losing weight so I may just want to take a picture to remember what cleavage was like. I mean figure they are really just sacs of fat and getting leaner will melt that too. ah well they were fun while they lasted.

OTOH, the original topic here on GC had me thinking of different things. [Razz]
After all, a number of people have told me that *I* have a nice rack. [Wink]

However, mine are 42U, not A/B/C/D/.../J [Big Grin]
