I am Spriting again and want to use Apple works instead of Claris Works but I can't save file as gif in apple works how can I save file as Gifs in apple works.

Sorry for stating the obvious, but why would one create gifs with Apple Works? Get yourself a real imaging software. I'm partial toward Graphic Converter (a non-limited shareware) and I know others here will say nothing but Gimp. You could even save your Apple Works files as an intermediate format before converting it with something else.

Use the right tool for the job, and your life will improve.

I have PhotoShop I just like using Claris works to sprite becuase I need to use it to make each pixel count.

What version of Appleworks? 5 or 6? I thought Save As... would give you a choice drop down below. I also like AppleWorks as an image editor. Is it a Paint or Graphics document? I think only Graphics docs can be saved as GIFs
