I am taking my math final on Tuesday and my calculator (TI-83 Silver Plus) is suddenly freaking out. When I go to graph something in function mode, the coordinate axes is gone. I just get the picture of the graph which is fine, but won't help a lot on my test. Can someone please tell what setting I can change to bring it back??? Thank you soooooo much!

Normally I would say RTFM but I'm just too nice like that [Smile]

hit 2nd then ZOOM, then turn Axes On

Or if that's confusing, just hit these buttons in order:

ON
2nd
ZOOM
down arrow
down arrow
down arrow
ENTER
2nd
MODE

and you're done.

[Eek!]

Ivan, did you do that using Photoshop? Because it looks like you used the magnetic lasso. You'd be better off using the polygonal lasso tool to get around my ugly face :-P

Well, Super goo. I don't think you should worry about your face in the shot, because them glasses are covering most of it! [Big Grin]

I saw this thread and just couldn't resist...

In my attempts to gain a better understanding of the Gimp (coming from a photoshop background), here is what I have come up with.

Not the best in the world, but not bad either for a 10-15 minute job if I may say so. [Wink]

Spectacular work, dude! I was half tempted to try and just do /something/ a hair better than the Paintbrush thing above, but really, this kind of stuff isn't my thing. You sir, grok the Gimp. [Smile]
