Methinks the GC search is b0rked ATM, cause I couldn't find that thread either. I remember I had "Too much love will kill you", but that's probably not a good choice for what you intend. So something more sappy...

How about some U2 .. "With or Without You", or "One". Actually, they're still a bit less positive.

/me looks through audio drive at work

Bon Jovi - "Bed of Roses"
Barry White - "Can't get enough of your love"
Elton John - too many possibilities to list
INXS - Never Tear us Apart

Hmm, not much of a list there. I've probably got a better selection at home, I'll repost later if I get a chance.

Edit: Snaggy fixed the search! [thumbsup] Thread you were looking for is right here

Little Feat "Long Distance Love"

Talking Heads "This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)"

...There are so many I can't even remember them - but for the implausibly high irritation factor there's always: Kylie "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" [evil]

Was that the one with suggesting "shook me all night long" and I suggested "closer"?

If so, I've no idea where it is.

No(but I still LOVE that song, thank you!). Damn, I will have to keep trying. It got really long and there were some great songs suggested, I remember. It's probably quite old, tho.

Wet Wet Wet?! [Razz] The original "Love Is All Around" by The Troggs is the only version as far as I'm concerned. Wet Wet Wet [shake head] Walks off, disappointed in Snupy

Well, G, I've been influenced from across the pond on that one, so I'll blame him!

BTW, he arrives tomorrow for 2 weeks, so I probably won't be around here much. Have fun, everybody-and give me some good stuff to read when I come back! [Wink]

But the Troggs are from across the pond too. Other great Troggs love songs:

Gonna Make You
With A Girl Like You
I Can't Control Myself
Give It To Me
Feels Like A Woman

and my favorite

The Raver

The lyrics consist of one line: "A boy's not a boy and a man's not a man 'til he been with a girl like my JoAnne." [Big Grin]
