Apple keyboards don't have shift keys, it's part of the whole one-button-mouse thing, simplify, simplify, simplify.

Nah no one here is a flaming mac junkie there are a few that like systems that work however. My own collection Quadra 650 used for quicken and my Log Book, Supermac ( dual boot Suse, mac OS9 ) used for surfing, pentium II with ubunto, pentium three with winblows 98 (wifes), imac with OS9.2 (wifes) and an old 386 laptop that I am setting up to do packet. I just like the stuff to work. I also try various live CDs to see if they are better than what I have loaded

Rhonwyyn: As a hint, try googling Mackintosh and see what you come up with.

/I knew those Famous Five/Enid Blyton/etc novels would come in handy one day

Now *that's* ^^^^ more like the GC forums I signed on for.

Let's see:

1)Noob asks an obvious question
2)Noob gets a barrage of polite smart-assed replies
3) Thread-jacks appear
4) Comments along tangential lines occur
5) Regular posters slap each other gently a few times
6) Everbody gets a chuckle and then switches to a new thread.

This is Great!
