I don't expect this thread to burst forth as much as some of the other word games. Standard haiku of no more than 17 syllables (5-7-5 or anything that fits the definition, I'm not picky) with integrated puns on a theme. You can change the theme but it has to be a neat segue, not just random.

Not a breathtaking start, but here we go...

Pun wars are divine
but add haiku; it's magic!
I see the future.

of limited interest
which surprises me

Bear not such sweet dalliance
There is no logic in succulent succubi
May I have your slice of pi?

Damn, I suck at this. *sigh*

Fuck me! These haikus
sound wise and sort of... profound
even when it's bollocks.

It makes me think of drunk men
Oi . . . that did sound bad.

The color of the Seasons and other deep stuff?
Screw it. Let's go get a beer.

Amidst hips, we meet
and later a glass of port.
It's a bitter end.

(Were we going nautical or booze?)

Rose hips when squished
Make a bitter beverage
To take to the Scotch*

*Vulgar slang for Scots [Razz]

(Why not both? I don't care? I'm always drunk and seasick in KoL anyhow)

[edit] Wow, jancis! That is excellent!]

Scuppers the sea cocks surge,
Chafing gear, badly!

And your talent for haiku!
Say - are you new here?

A Warning!

The coffee tastes like
mud and the reason is it
was ground this morning...

<fx: shave and a haircut /endfx>

p.s. - No offence, but I couldn't resist . .

Hanging out round Gloucester docks
And knows the seamen!
