Voltesla! SOLD!

SOLD! Thank so much to the bidder! :-)

This large painting continues my series of painted tech logos. My goal was to represent the spirit of Tesla and the word voltaic: of electrons firing, of accelerating lights speeding in the night, of movement, energy, and electricity, and of hope for the future. It's a joyful, playful take on the logo, one that's not pretentious or corporately clean, but busy with activity, and color, and movement.

My painting, Voltesla, evokes a feeling of motion and electricity. Looking at the shapes and streaks and huge globs of vibrant color, you'll see different images every time. The colors are bright and electrifying. Your eye sweeps across the top of the logo then down the spike of the T, then exposed outwards, around and around, catching lines and streaks of electric color on an exciting visual journey.

Although I don’t own a Tesla automobile, I do feel a jolt of excitement when I see one. It is like they try to be virtuous and beautiful and full of power, all at the same time. For me, the painting represents energizement, dynamism, hope, beauty, and motion.

Best of luck to all bidders, and to the winner, I know you will adore this painting as much as I do. Whether or not you are a proud owner of a Tesla, or aspiring to drive one someday, I’m sure this painting will also fill you with inspiration, hope, and excitement. It was a challenge to paint, but fun regardless, and I'm very pleased with the outcome.
