Steve Jobs and the apple, 5" x 7" oil *SOLD*

The painting has sold! Thanks! Click here to view the auction!

"Steve Jobs and the apple" is the 25th painting of my Painting A Day Blog. This portrait is a bit of a departure from my usual style, and my first attempt at a more Classical portrait style. So what better portrait to start with than Steve Jobs in the prime of his youth, dressing to impress, with that "I'm changing the world" confidence. He has a mischievous look and a luminous glow about him, and seems to be tempting the viewer with the apple... just one "byte" and your soul will be his! (Today he gets that same effect with an iPhone :-D) This painting was a ton of fun to paint, and I'm really happy with the results.

Details: Oil painting, 5" x 7", on canvas board. Painting will ship once the oil paint is completely dry... that will be about 5 days after the auction ends.

If the painting isn't sold at auction, it will be up for sale in our webstore at a higher than originally listed price, so it does pays to bid on the auction! Best of luck to all bidders!

Shipping for each painting is extra... to the US and Canada it is 8 dollars, to other locations, 15 dollars. The back of each painting will contain the title, the date painted, my signature, and a fingerprint for authenticity.

iPod Shuffle, 4"x4" acrylic painting. SOLD!

These little beauties were all sold!

I love my iPod Shuffle, it's so small and so beautiful, I just had to create a painting of it! "iPod Shuffle" is the 24rd painting of my Painting A Day Blog. I painted it life-size, on a white background, paying meticulous attention to the fine detailing of this teeny tiny music marvel. It's painted using metalic silver paints too, which really capture the spirit of the cool brushed aluminum surface of the Shuffle.

This auction is a little different as I am offering three 4 x 4 inch paintings of the same subject. This is partly due to popular requests (people are so disappointed when they don't win a painting) and also because the Shuffle is just so darn fun to paint!

How it works is like this. There are three Shuffle paintings available. The photos are from the first Shuffle painting. It happens to be silver, as mine is silver. Additional paintings will be nearly identical, only I will also offer the two highest bidders color options, that is, if they want a blue Shuffle in the painting, I will paint that. Or if they want the pink Shuffle, I'll paint the pink one.... you get the drift. If the first two winning bidders do not choose the Silver Shuffle, it will go to the third bidder.

This painting is on a 4" x 4" canvas panel, painted with metalic acrylic paints.
