Our average use is about 12 kWh/day, so we're well and truly into 'net producer' territory.

So neat! [Applause] [Applause] [Applause]

Can you post any pics of your installation? Or one that looks like yours? Is your whole house covered in billboard-sized solar panels, or is it just a few panels that can pull this off?

edit: I found your details (4kW PV system, (16 x 250W panels , 1.5 m^2 (15 sq ft) each), but I still wanna see a pic! [Razz]

edit: is it like this?

Hmmmm....
Tricky.
The ideal place to stand to get said photos would be the neighbours roof, but I'll see what I can do...

Nah...you just need to get a drone. [Wink]

A drone would have been nice, but the old school stand-in-the-middle-of-the-road-and-quickly-take-a pic-before-any-trucks-hit-you method also works.
Kind of.
Here's the west-facing surface, 9 panels, taken across 2 back yards from the middle of the road.
The other 7 panels are on the east-facing side, that pic would have required a drone, or abseiling equipment to get to the top of the church steeple.

With such a low cost to consumers (making it actually possible to purchase/install), I'm wondering why that solar company in California that Obama invested in didn't do well?
