Hi everyone! I was listening to a Twit podcast today working on experiments when lo and behold the geek culture site is mentioned. And like a bolt from the blue it all comes flooding back to me! Glad to see some familiar faces still posting here.
Brief recap of the past few years. Maia and I are no longer together. I haven't heard from her in quite some time but last I heard she was doing well in a teaching job, and I wish her all the best.
I am now engaged to another wonderful geeky girl who's a post-doc here at the same school . The pet count is up to 3 cats, 1 hamster, a bunch of freshwater fishies, and 2 madagascar hissing cockroaches. And I'm trying to finish up my degree very soon because we are expecting a bouncing baby geekling!
