I have a very good imagination too, but not to the point where I confuse stuff. I don;t really have too many quirks like that, but I have plenty of others.

Count another one with vivid imagination. But although I can imagine things to the point I can "see" them, it's a matter of blinking my eyes and "where am I?" (usually when on the bus) to get back to reality.
Other than that, my brain has weird wiring. It can show up when saying things completely different from what I was thinking, making multiple-level speech parenthesis, trying to say two things at the same time, or skipping from one subject to another apparently unrelated one, based on very remote connexions between the two (a feeling, a single word, etc.)
Oh, and there are some things I understand very quickly on the unconscious level. I mean that I know the result almost immediately, but it can take hours before the steps that led to that conclusion get to the conscious level. Call it logical/analytical intuition, if you will.

Actually, that sounds very similar to me. I really don't remember things all to well, in a sense. I have a VERY good memory, I do know that. But it seems very random for what it picks to remember, and I can not access it.
Like say, asking me what irony means. I have no idea what irony means, but I know exactly what is meant by it, were it should be used, and etc. But I couldn't explain it to you at all. This goes for most words. The right word just "pops" into my head, even for other peoples conversations. Funny part is when my mind completes sentances automatically. Its like "Why would they say that?~?!?!?!," then the word that they actually said hits me.
Oh, and I really have a bad problem with the saying things other then what I meant to say. It's like "I want this word, mind" and my brain goes "Right... well, this is kinda what that word sounds like."
Its like a REALLY HORRIBLE hashing algorithim for what I think, and it picks the first word that matches...

I find it best to let the voices do the imaginationing things for me. It leaves me with more time to watch geriatric pron and eat chicken fingers.
