I saw Arrival last night... I loved it. I was a little worried it would be hokey, and well, it was a bit in parts, but it all worked. Gorgeous look, great "subtle" effects, and a fantastic story that draws you in slowly, slowly, slowly, ... then tips your mind upside-down... just like what happens to the scientists entering the spaceship. [crazy]

I will never look at coffee cup stains in the same way again! [Cool]

Interesting. I don't think I've seen a movie in a theater since the summer...maybe I'm due. Alas, most of those were free, and this probably wouldn't be. [Wink]

Loved the film! Mind you the teenaged girlies in the back made an audible "WTF di I just watch.... I do't get it" It's a thinking film.

Loved it as well!

Well...at first I thought I didn't, but the more I mulled it over, the more it hit me until I'd completely changed my mind.

Can't recommend it enough.
