Hello,

We have a discussion at a local geek community on that picture: http://www.geekculture.com/joyoftech/joyarchives/1453.html
Wonder if the car for Linux is Fiat 124 or Russian VAZ 2101. If the author of the comics reads this, can you please tell us which did you have in mind?

Hi seliv!

Here is the reference that we used for the awesome Linux car...

So it is a Lada, which I'm not sure which version that would be.

Of course I did some mods on it... adding a bomb disposal unit tracks, grapple, snowplow, the stereoscopic eyes of the Mar lander, a coffee maker, periscope, old style movie camera, Roomba, and my favorite, the anvil.

Thank you very much for the answer! So it was based on a Russian car (Lada is a modern brand for this series of vehicles: http://www.lada.ru/ , former known as VAZ or Zhiguli).
