I know, I know, another your fav thread... blah blah...

Anyway, I was greatly amused on approach to London Bridge train station the other day by a bit of graffiti sprayed on a warehouse that just said: "Big Dave's Gusset" I thought - wtf?

Care to share?

Someone else painted underneath

"Cats Like Crisps"

I remember seeing this graffiti spread all around West London sometime in the 1970s I think. Anyone know what it was about?

Attached to Edinburgh University Old college: "Ken More". Is it a name or a statement? Also, on Adam house there are a couple of grecian pots either side of the door. On the left one someone has written "Eric", and on the other one "Urn". And something I read on a lecture theatre bench, which didn't appeal to me, but might to others- "Heisenberg might have been here".

I quite liked that someone had graffitied "Grafittiing forbidden", or similar.

I find any graffiti that has been mispelt amusing - for example, a sign showing a dog pooping with a cross through it had been amended by a genius with an arrow pointing to the poop saying "alowd". Also the hilarious jokes where curves or lines can be added to place names to turn them into smutty words (tee hee), such as "Pendas" -> "Bendas" [shake head]

My favourite peice of graffiti I've seen is this one, which I was lucky enough to see before they cleaned it off. It's not overly confusing or anything (well it is, but only for specialised reasons and to biochemists), just quite random that someone would think of graffiting a DNA base on the road [Smile]

A pal of mine wanted to change the sign on my workplace from "Joseph Black Building" to "Joseph Black Pudding". He never got around to it though.

Back in the stone age, when I was in high school. A kid spray painted Satin Rules on the side of the Catholic church. He got caught when someone ratted him out and under intense questioning the meatheads (military police) asked hime to spell satan.

Ahh, yes, there's a commonly done one in Aus where the "after" is "Rave naked in the guards compartment with a blue light" (can you guess the before? It's even googleable)

I've heard of one where the left wall reads, "Shithouse tennis: Look right," and the right wall reads, "Shithouse tennis: Look left."

Damn you, csk, you got me to use IE (FF needs that new "temporary clean slate" feature Safari's getting in 10.4). What's more, that lead me to this odd page. Somehow I think it's about time I do some real work...

While that's both ingenious and hilarious, I will bet money that < 50% of the population would get it.

on a wall in a bathroom "when all your wishes come true, all your dreams will disappear" i read it aloud and the guy next to me said "agreed". i hadnt known anyone else was in there :/

There's one on the floor of a uni toilet stall in front of the bowl (think it's Bristol but I'm not sure) that says in tiny writing "You are now shitting at exactly 90°". Very smart [thumbsup]

I like to go for the typical ones found on the backs of transit vans...

"I wish my wife was this dirty" and "Also available in white"... the first time I saw either of these I was in stitches!!! [Smile]

[Big Grin] ... there's another one, here at Bristol, on the back of the toilet dispenser in the left corner toilet of the girls' loo in the Classics Dept. that makes reference to the University of the West of England, which is the other university in this town (we're rivals, apparently):

"I'd rather shoot myself than go to UWE."

Underneath which, someone else has written:

"Maybe you should, with that attitude!"

Followed by:

"I agree with this person, how shallow can you be?"

And in closing, the same handwriting as that of the first message:

"Fsck you both, you're obviously constipated and projecting."

My dorm room in college must have had someone with a sad^H^Htatistics class. Gouged into the chair rail on one wall was:

"Find the norm, then deviate."
